The migrants rights network recently published that a new 'Life in the UK test' website has been launched. The new web known as Lifeintheuktestweb offers free tests for candidates preparing for the UK citizenship test as well as study materials. The questions for the tests have been taken from the Life in the UK test 3rd edition handbook and the tests have been divided into two categories: one where candidates can practice all the chapters together and the other one when tests can be taken by choosing a desired chapter.
The advantage of being able to practice the tests per chapter is that candidates can know which areas they need to work on more. The entire book has been covered in the tests and if a person is getting most of the answers right this will be an indication that they are ready to take the real test. Also, there is a panel where questions can be marked as 'review question' when in candidates are unsure of the correct answer so they can go back to eat at a later estate. At the end of each test candidates can also review all the questions and answers from that particular test and if they got any wrong answers, the correct answer will be shown.
The site is user friendly and it has been adapted for its use in mobile phones, ipads, laptops and computers. Another plus is that the tests and similar and in a few cases is slightly harder than the official test, so candidates can be confident to pass the test once they have mastered all the tests.
The home page is very colourful and the site is well structured. There is also a contact page where the webmaster can be contacted. Practicing these tests is fun and you get to know a lot about the British culture. One of my favourite tests are those in chapter 3 that you can practice here http://www.lifeintheuktestweb.co.uk/test-3-1 For as it covers the British history.
